Why I shop here

When times are tough, sometimes accidents happen and people make impulsive choices. The recent trampling death at a Long Island Walmart is just one example of how easy it is for people to get carried away It is not the first time this has happened.

More people are starting to think like home is the place to shop from with some degree of safety. For myself, I shop online a lot more. And I go to familiar places like this birding guides store. I trust them. Besides what is most important for me today is a feeling of trust and safety. This birding guides place helps me feel that way and I shall do my Christmas shopping there.

I love to Learn

And I love books and love to read. And now that I cannot get out and around as much as I used to, I spend a lot of time on the internet doing readings and research. To Explore

The call of nature brings me to do outdoor exploring whenever I can. Though the seasons have their effects on me also and sometimes I have to explore from indoors and read about the adventures of other people.

I often seek times to take my bird book and favorite bird binoculars and take a short walk to explore. It was simple things like this that got some of the great environmental movements started, individual people noticing small changes in which birds are numerous and which ones are no longer around. it softened the egg shells of birds and they did not survive. Rachel Carson’s work and her scientific background was all she needed for credibility and she was a catalyst for major environmental movements in America in the 1970’s.
